"Greta" could be her highest grossing indie to date!

Well since we know for sure that Anchor Bay Entertainment has the film and are going theatrical I did some research on they're release info for other films.

Anchor Bay on average releases to over 90 theaters during the premiere weekend of an independent film (which is incredible for an indie film release), so if it does well, "Greta" could easily make over 100,000 dollars in it's debut weekend.

Anchor Bay just released "Spread" this weekend (starring Ashton Kutcher) to over 91 theaters, and it made far over $100,000 in it's first weekend, as do a majority of their other films. In fact, they bought "Spread" from Voltage Picture's at the same time and place they bought "Greta" from Voltage.

So there may be big hope for this film yet! Just some research I did and decided to share.

The film definitely has a window to do well, the buzz about it has been pretty good, and it hasn't even been promoted yet. So it's doing well already! lol

I think it has potential to do really well @ the theaters. Considering the amount of people who are actually interested in it, Hilary fans and non fans alike, it could do really well.

yes, even i weren't a hilary fan i would love to watch the movie, because the plot is really good, i love greta's attitude, and the trailer is promising... they have only to invest in the right promotion

you know if they start playing the trailer in theaters, it's really going to get people's attention. I really wish they'd polish the trailer a bit thought.

i hardly see indie films' trailers in front of big movies. it'd have to play in front of indie flicks

Love the research that's being done about this movie. I really want it to well at the box office, trying to spread the word to everyone about the movie.
